Private and NHS Consultations
Private Consultations
Andy consults privately at The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes and The Manor in Bedford.
His clinic times are listed below, although is may be possible to see him outside of these times by prior appointment.
Andy is happy to see any patient with an upper limb problem whether it is acute or long standing.
Your initial consultation as a new patient will be 30 minutes long and any subsequent appointments will last 15 minutes. Consultations may include appropriate investigations such as x-rays, or minor treatments such as injections of joints. You may well be referred for other investigations such as CT, MRI or ultrasound scans. The results of these will be discussed at a follow up appointment.
As well as private patients, Andy also sees NHS patients through the "Choose and book" system in both hospitals.

NHS Consultations
Andy runs elective clinics at Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust twice a week. You will initially need to see your GP who will then offer you a choice of hospitals at which appropriate treatment may be sought, this is know as "Choose and book" Andy works very closely with a dedicated team of three hand therapists, who play a vital role in the post operative care and rehabilitation of patients who have been treated for their hand and wrist problems.
Average time to wait for a clinic appointment is around 8-10 weeks and in general the waiting time for surgery is 10-12 weeks.
