Perfectly formed and incredibly complex, we all take our hands and wrists for granted. Made up of 29 bones forming 29 joints, these joints and bones are stabilized by 123 ligaments; these bones and joints are moved by 34 muscles which in turn are supplied by 48 nerves and 30 arteries.
In order for our hands and wrists to function properly these structures must work in perfect harmony with each other. Injury, wear and tear and abnormalities of these structures may lead to pain, stiffness, swelling and deformity of the hand and wrist resulting in problems with everyday activities, sports and hobbies.
This site is designed to provide you with the information you need to find out how I may be able to help you with your hand and wrist problems, improving your function and allowing you to return to your normal activities.
Please feel free to contact me for further information or to make an appointment.

...we find only one tool, neither created nor invented, but perfect: the hand of man.
